Peruvian territory was home to ancient cultures, spanning from the Norte Chico civilization, one of the oldest in the world, to the Inca Empire, the largest state in Pre-Columbian America. The Spanish Empire conquered the region in the 16th century and established a Viceroyalty, which included most of its South American colonies.
JOHN ROTTKAMP M.D. FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
John was born and raised in Long Island, New York. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biological Sciences at SUNY at Stony Brook, New York. In 1984, he obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in NYC. Dr. Rottkamp then finished a residency program in Anesthesiology at Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC. He has been practicing his specialty at Staten Island University Hospital since 1988.
