The festival was totally organized and financed by the members of Rottkamp Charitable Foundation and their volunteers. It was a lively event highlighted by an artistic show "The Rocotita". Members took charge of the party by carrying out dances and activities where the children and members of Rottkamp Charitable Foundation could all participate with a lot of holiday spirit and enthusiasm.
Christmas Festival- December 25, 2007
With a lot of Christmas spirit, the FESTIVAL OF CHRISTMAS was carried out in the District of San Martin de Porres. The guests were the ladies of the Club of “United Mothers of Valdiviezo” and the children that are fed three meals daily in this popular dining room or ”Milk Club”. This club has been in existence for 25 years.
The children of the Club of United Mothers of Valdiviezo once again showed their superb ability at choreographing Christmas dances from different states of Peru. They also performed a representation of the birth of Christ with accompanying biblical readings. At the end of the event, gifts were distributed to each child and 6 Christmas baskets were raffled for the mothers, followed by a delicious Christmas dinner.
