The Elena Youth Center in Barranquilla, Colombia is a home to protect children. This center was founded by the Capuchin tertiary sisters in 1992. Many children here come from homes where they were abused or sexually harassed by family members. This center receives them, giving them protection, emotional and psychological support, a spiritual formation, arts and crafts classes, family psychotherapy, vocational and occupational orientation and music and sports programs. The goal is to incorporate them emotionally and orient them with God. Our team, the Rottkamp Charitable Foundation is proud to help this great organization in its different programs. In January 2018, RCF, represented by Misael Veloz donated school supplies and food to the center. We hope that we can count on the support of our friends to continue helping this great center and the sisters of the home since they are a private institution and lack many resources to carry out their great humanitarian work.

The children of the center were very surprised and happy of receiving this presents from RCF.
