This year our Annual Backpack Campaign celebrated 11 years of supporting the education of many kids from different districts of North Lima. Throughout all the years, the President of RCF had the joy of visiting different locations of Northern Lima but, with great regret we received the news that our collaborators of Solidarity Peru were attacked with cruelty and total impunity by a gang of assailants, where several of our collaborators were injured but, in spite of the situation and in agreement with our collaborators in Lima we made the necessary coordination and efforts to not abandon the campaign and to support the children who were very enthusiastic In coordination with the Coordinators of different Shanty Towns and “Glasses of Milk””, located in the high part of Mountain La Milla, this year Dr. Rottkamp delivered Backpacks, with a full year school supplies to the children members of the “Glasses of Milk” “Mujeres Emprendedoras”, and “Shanty town Santa Rosa II”.
