Three schools in the district of Independencia participated. They received a seminar describing the history of Sadako and Peace and learned different techniques in art drawing.
ARTWORK FROM WORKING CHILDREN
(AUGUST 2009)
Working children at risk from different schools in north of Lima – Perú participated in the second annual Art Exhibition in Hiroshima, Japan to promote peace around the World. The event is organized by the ngo “Ant-Hiroshima”.
With the money collected from the sale of their artwork, we will provide backpacks to more working children in northern Lima.
