Lunch time during the outing.
As part of its year-end community activities, Solidarity Peru organized a recreational outing for children and mothers from North Lima, belonging to families who reside in the area known as Cerrito de La Milla and face limited economic resources. This initiative is part of the annual efforts aimed at providing access to safe recreational spaces and shared experiences beyond their daily environment.
The activity included organized transportation, meals, admission fees, and the distribution of gifts and toys for the children, ensuring a structured and secure experience for all participants. The outing was implemented by Solidarity Peru, with the support of the Rottkamp Charitable Foundation, and was carried out in close collaboration with the community, highlighting the active and well-coordinated participation of the mothers throughout the day.
Beyond the material support provided, the initiative sought to strengthen family and community bonds, reinforcing values such as inclusion, accompaniment, and collective responsibility, while promoting moments of enjoyment and togetherness for participating families.
